Welcome to Troop 568
Troop 568 is a linked Boys and Girls Troop with over 60 youth members. We are a very active Troop, with at least one major outdoor activity every month (that the youth vote on!) We enjoy various activities, from hiking to kayaking, and backpacking to rock climbing! Some of our highlights include sailplaning, beach/surf camping, astronomy overnights, and trips to the Mojave sand dunes! We participate in council-wide competition-based Camporees with lots of fun games and challenges, and encourage all youth to attend a summer camp where they will experience a unique opportunity to bond with their fellow scouts, earn merit badges, encounter new challenges in water sports (kayaking, rowing, canoeing, swimming and more), climbing (walls, challenge courses or rappelling), or range and target activities (such as archery, rifle, and more). We enjoy campfire programs full of skits, songs and jokes.
When we meet and where
We meet every Monday night from 7:00-8:15pm at the CUMC, 6652 Heil Ave. Huntington Beach.
Our approach to Scouting
Our Troop includes youth from age 11-17, both boys and girls. All of our adult leadership are highly trained, and we are dedicated to making sure all our scouts have the best, fulfilling and safe experience possible.
Youth Protection is of the highest importance. View information on Scouting’s policy and see how to get trained! Click Here
